A QUICK DRAWING IN CHARCOAL   Sometimes the quick drawing is the most satisfying to me as an artist because it is free, casual and depicts the model with a simple artist line.  I framed this and like the results.

Muddy Road

Acrylics ~ Muddy Road ... that "ole mud hole on the way to the farm"

My inspiration for this painting was an old muddy road my husband live on in his youth.  Very nostalgic.

"The Last of the Tulips"  An acrylic painting that was in the Art Bash for the 2012 Tulip Festival.
This was my first acrylic done entirely with a palette knife.  I was pleased with the results and
received positive feedback at the exhibit.

Encaustic Sunrise This was a multi facited project.  Many layers of wax for texture
to look like metal then the graphite is rubbed into the warm wax surface.  The smaller
rectangle on top is layer of wax with pigment.  Very fun and looks great. Size 10x24.
